Dénia
The heart of the city
The Costa Blanca Hotel is located in the vibrant centre of Denia, just 50 yards from the high street, nestled in one of the most picturesque old towns on the Mediterranean Coast. Being so close to the port, the train station and the bus station will make it easy for you to get around the city.
Amble down Denia’s charming alleyways to discover its range of shops, its traditional marketplace and boutiques – and don’t miss the chance to indulge in the perfect culinary combinations they make here, where the land meets the sea.
Mediterranean tradition
Past and present merge together in this lovely city inside the region of Alicante, where history has made its mark and there is so much to see. Go ahead and explore the centre’s pedestrianised streets, the Plaza de la Constitución which houses the Church of La Asunción and the City Hall, or Denia Castle with its wonderful range of seasonal cultural activities. Another must is a stroll from the port to the Baix la Mar district, one of the city’s quaintest areas which is better known as the Fishermen’s Neighbourhood.
Cape San Antonio
Another popular option is an excursion to Cabo de San Antonio, a protected marine reserve where peace and quiet reign, inviting you to simply behold the beauty of its stunning panoramic views over the sea and the mountains. If you are more of a seaside lover, there are some lovely sand or stone beaches caressed by a gentle sea breeze. Come along and try your water sport skills!
Surrounded by nature
Apart from the fun and the shops, the city is surrounded by some unique landscapes and you will find plenty to do in the great outdoors. How about a walk through Montgó Natural Park or a hike along one of the area’s many footpaths and trails? This has become a classic outing for Denia visitors. The local countryside is home to over 600 species of plants and animals.
